L'Agulhas (Portuguese for needle!) refers to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa, which is where our lighthouse logo also comes from. My husband was born in Capetown, but spent most of his holidays on the beach at Cape Agulhas - a place of amazing natural beauty associated with carefree childhood memories. It seemed only right to use the name for our business!

L'Agulhas Baby was founded on the basis of our firmly held conviction that our children deserve something better than the modern "disposable culture". 

Our mission is to source and provide selected, high-quality products for babies and children, tried and tested by ourselves, that offer parents an alternative to the mass-market option. In conjunction with this, we aim to provide an outstanding level of personal customer service.

The products we supply have been chosen specifically because the suppliers' company ethics and beliefs harmonise with our own. Our product line is small but growing all the time, and any new products added will always meet our stated mission.
